[Bachelor Degree] BAZNAS Scholarship for Indonesia Student at Albukhary International University (AIU), Malaysia (Fully Funded)



BAZNAS together with Albukhary International University in 2019 have signed a scholarship cooperation program named Beasiswa BAZNAS - Albukhary International University (BCB - AIU). This scholarship is intended for Indonesian students who have graduated from high school / MA / Vocational High School who continue their studies to undergraduate level at the bachelor level with the following qualifications:

[Master and PhD Degree] Malaysia International Scholarship 2020, Malaysia (Full Scholarship)


The MIS is an initiative by the Malaysian Government to attract the best brain from around the world to pursue advanced academic studies in Malaysia. This scholarship aims to support Malaysian Government's effort to attract, motivate and retain talented human capital from abroad.

Talented international students with excellent academic records and outstanding co-curricular backgrounds are welcomed to apply for this scholarship and further their studies in any selected and well-established Malaysian public and selected private universities at postgraduate level.

The call for application in 2020 is only for selected countries such as ASEAN, Kingdom of Morocco and Palestine only. The online application will be opened in early 2020.

Benefit:
This scholarship is limited to tuition fees and monthly living allowance; RM 1,500.00 per month.
  • Successful applicants are expected to independently arrange their travel to Malaysia (non-financial provisions). Travel expenses will not be provided by the Government of Malaysia.
  • All applicants are highly advised to check the expected living expenses in Malaysia. 

Requirement:
Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), applicants must COMPLY to the following criteria:
  • Not be more than 40 and 45 years of age for Master and PhD respectively.
  • For Master’s degree, applicants should obtain a minimum of Second Class Upper (Honours) or a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at Bachelor Degree.
  • For PhD applicant should obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or very good result at Master’s degree level in a similar field of intended PhD study.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency:
  • Scanned copy of the original proof of English Language Proficiency such as IELTS (total 6.5); or TOEFL (paper-based test with a minimum total score of 580 or computer-based test with a minimum total score of 230 or internet-based test with a minimum total score of 92); or
  • Applicants obtaining degrees with English as medium of instructions may also be accepted (evidence is a prerequisite).
  • A written proposal with minimum of 1,000 words that is relevant to the field of studies.

    • Application form;
    • A certified copy of Passport as evidence of nationality (minimum of 6 month's validity);
    • A certified copy of Academic Transcript;
      • Record of all the courses taken throughout the degree programme must be reflected in the academic transcripts;
      • Applicants must submit transcripts of their undergraduate studies; and
      • Applicants must submit an official document issued by the applicants' alma mater describing the university’s grade system. If an applicant’s transcript does not include information on CGPA, marks or score percentile. Documents must be certified.
    • A certified copy of English Language Proficiency;
    • Letter of Recommendation from two (2) referees (e.g. lecturer, supervisor or immediate superior, etc.)
    • Endorsement form;
    • Admission letter from Malaysia University (if applicable)
    • Curriculum Vitae; and
    • Research Proposal

Terms and Condition:
  • Scholars must undertake full-time study for postgraduate at any Malaysian Public Universities. It is the responsibility of the scholars to confirm admission to the university.
  • Scholars must not change their programme during tenure of the scholarship except with written permission from the university and the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
  • Scholars must follow the approved programmes and are abide by the university’s rules, regulations and codes of conduct.
  • Any suspension from the university will result in immediate suspension of award. Monthly allowances are not payable during suspension.
  • It is the responsibility of successful candidates to apply and meet the requirements for the issuing of an appropriate entry visa including medical examination.   • Scholars must maintain satisfactory progress and good standing as stipulated by their host university or the scholarship will be withdrawn.

Malaysia International Scholarship: Beasiswa S2 & S3 di Malaysia


Sama seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya Pemerintah Malaysia kembali membuka pendaftaran Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS). Program beasiswa ini ditujukan bagi para pelamar di luar Malaysia (termasuk Indoensia) untuk melanjutkan studi ke jenjang S2 (Master) serta S3 (PhD) di berbagai perguruan tinggi terkemuka di Malaysia dengan berbagai prioritas bidang studi. Penerima beasiswa ini akan dibebaskan dari kewajiban membayar uang kuliah (tuition fee) serta akan mendapatkan tunjangan biaya hidup bulanan.

Persyaratan Umum:
  • Usia maksimal 40 tahun untuk S2 dan 45 tahun untuk S3
  • Memiliki prestasi akademis yang bagus
  • Menguasai bahasa Inggris (dengan nilai TOEFL iBT minimal 92 atau IELTS minimal 6.5)

Sunway University Young Chef Scholarship 2020 for International Student, Malaysia (Full Scholarship)



On March 18, 2010, the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation was officially launched by the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak in the presence of the Royal Patron H.R.H the Sultan of Selangor. This self-perpetuating entity, established by the Founding Trustee, Tan Sri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah, AO replaces the Sunway Education Trust Fund set up in 1997 which formalised the status of Sunway College as a not-for-profit educational institution. All surplus funds from the institution are reinvested for scholarships and research as well as upgrading of campus facilities.
As of 2018, the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation has awarded more than RM402 million in Scholarships to thousands of deserving students in various fields of study.

      ASEAN Youth Biodiversity Leaders 2020 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Fully Funded)



      Young leaders are already taking the future in their hands. Youth-led conservation efforts sucha s awareness raising campagins, coastal clean-ups, online task forces to combat illegal wildlife trafficking via social media, amongst others, are already contributing to the fight against biodiversity loss.

      To truly scale young people's impact, the Youth Biodiversity Leaders (YBL) Fellowship provides one year of in-depth capacity building and mentorship and networking opportunities for select young leaders in the region. YBLs will receive training in: (1) Policy and (2) Skills. Fellowship curriculum and content will be delivered through online sessions and in-person activities, in collaboration with the Global Youth Biodiversity Network Southeast Asia regional node (GYBN SEA).

      * Specially for the 2020 YBL Cohort, emphasis for the one-year fellowship will be placed on enhancing youth participation in the “super year” for biodiversity—as the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity 2011–2020 and the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011–2020 come to an end in 2020, the world’s governments are discussing the successor to the Strategic Plan, also known as the post-2020 global biodiversity framework, in view of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 2050 Vision for Biodiversity “Living in harmony with nature”. This post-2020 framework will be agreed at the 15 th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) to Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), to be held in October 2020 in Kunming, China. The youth of ASEAN, defined as persons 15 – 35 years old, represent over 33% of the ASEAN population and are a key stakeholder group in contributing to the formulation and implementation of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
      The YBL 2020 Cohort, as well as selected 2019 YBLs, will be trained and provided opportunities to actively engage in the post-2020 process. This may involve additional participation in regional and/or international meetings in the Youth Roadmap to COP15 and beyond, depending on the YBL's expertise and availability. Participation in additional meetings after the YBL Academy is optional for the YBL programme. More details will be introduced in the YBL 2020 Academy.

      • One year in-depth training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to take their conservation impact to the next level

        • Roundtrip economy airfare (only flights within Southeast Asia will be funded)

      [Master and PhD Degree] Ajinomoto Scholarship for ASEAN 2021, Japan (Fully Funded)


      This program enables students from six countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Russia) wishing to enroll in a master’s course (at specified graduate schools in the sciences) at designated universities in Japan to secure scholarships before their arrival in Japan. It aims to cultivate individuals capable of leading Asia in the twenty-first century and to contribute to the development of Asia and the world as well as to mutual understanding between these countries and Japan.

      • Research Student at graduate school: ¥150,000/month (for 1 year).

      • The applicant must be in good physical and mental health and have a strongmotivation for learning. 
      • The applicant must not be receiving other scholarship

      • Highly motivated to pursue an overseas Master Degree in the field of nutrition, Food technology, Public Health, Chemistry Science, Biological Scienci with minimum GPA 3,150

        YSEALI Regional Workshop : Agri-Business Incubator 2020, Laos (Fully Funded)

         
        This learning experience will take you through a 5-day incubator-style workshop which will teach you how to apply Design Thinking, Lean Startup methodologies and disciplined entrepreneurship through rigorous evidenced-based, action-oriented learning to help you recognize opportunities and build a sustainable enterprise that can deliver innovative value in the Agri-business sector. Through classwork, site visits, and roundtable discussions, workshop participants will actively learn how to identify Agri-business opportunities, interact with potential customers, and develop sustainable and environmentally sound ventures. The coursework will be delivered by subject matter experts, trade professionals, industry leaders, and practitioners.

        The program will culminate with attendees presenting investor-style pitches to document their understanding of the Agri-business opportunity, their proposed solutions and the funding required to advance the development of their Agri-business innovation. Ventures with the highest potential might be eligible for additional funding to advance their ideas to the next level.
        Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

        If you have an idea for an agribusiness venture or have already started one and want to learn how to scale it, this workshop if for you.

        Benefit:
        ALL expenses will be covered including: round trip airfare from your home country to Laos, hotel accommodations and meals. There will be no stipends or additional funds distributed to individual participants.

        • Must be able to participate fully throughout the entire program from March 2-6, 2020 (includes travel days) – If you are coming from a smaller airport, you will need to plan for additional travel days before and after the above dates.

        Travel Film Scholarship 2019


        Buat teman-teman yang gemar membuat travel vlog atau film dokumenter secara umum, program perjalanan sekaligus bimbingan membuat film ini tentu sangat sayang apabila dilewatkan begitu saja. Diselenggarakan secara berkala oleh World Nomads, sebuah perusahaan asuransi internasional, Travel Film Scholarship untuk tahun 2019 ini akan berlangsung di Malaysia bulan Oktober 2019 mendatang.



        Fasilitas bagi Peserta Terpilih:
        • Tiket penerbangan pergi pulang ke Malaysia
        • Seluruh biaya selama 10 hari mengikuti kegiatan ini
        • Bimbingan langsung dari Jenny Nichols, pembuat film profesional
        • Tas kamera dan aksesoris
        • Peralatan audio senilai USD 1.000 dari RØDE Microphones
        • Asuransi perjalanan dari World Nomads

        Persyaratan Umum:
        • Berusia 18 tahun atau lebih per tanggal 6 Agustus 2019
        • Bukan pembuat film profesional
        • Bisa berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris
        • Memiliki paspor yang masih berlaku

        Prosedur Pendaftaran:
        Setiap pendaftar wajib membuat film wawancara dengan pelaku perjalanan mengenai perjalanan yang merka lakukan dan dibuat semenarik mungkin. Durasinya selama 3 menit. Kemudian unggah video tersebut ke YouTube atau Vimeo. Pendaftaran dilakukan secara online dengan mengisi Formulir Pendaftaran. Pelajari juga Laman Tanya Jawab agar lebih memahami persyaratan dan ketentuannya.

        Fully Funded: CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders Programme 2019


        Salah satu cara untuk memperluas wawasan serta menambah jaringan pertemanan dengan rekan-rekan di luar negeri adalah dengan mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan internasional. Nah, kesempatan itu terbuka lebar dengan diselenggarakannya program CIMB Young ASEAN Leaders (CYAL) 2019 di Kuala Lumpur pada tanggal 23-27 September 2019 mendatang. Kegiatan semacam widya wisata ini mengambil tema Sustainable Indigenous Resources for Renewable Energy.



        Fasilitas Peserta:

        • Transportasi lokal
        • Akomodasi dan komsumsi selama mengikuti kegiatan

        Persyaratan Umum:
        • Penduduk negara ASEAN (teramsuk Indonesia)
        • Mahasiswa S1/Diploma dengan IPK minimal 3.0
        • Usia 18-30 tahun
        • Lancar berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris
        • Prioritas untuk yang telah berpengalaman dalam kegiatan kerelawanan

        Prosedur Pendaftaran:
        Para calon peserta mendaftar secara online dengan mengisi Formulir Pendaftaran. Informasi lengkap dan dokumen yang harus disiapkan tercantum dalam formulir tersebut. Akan dipilih 50 peserta yang lolos seleksi. Peserta terpilih akan menerima pemberitahuan pada minggu ketiga bulan Agustus 2019. Apabila ada pertanyaan terkait program ini, lanngsung saja email ke uctc@ukm.edu.my.
