MEXT Scholarship - Teacher Training Program 2020 (Non-degree Program) for Indonesian Citizen, Japan (Fully Funded)

The Teacher Training Program is one of the scholarship programs from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho / MEXT) specifically designed for teachers to improve the quality of teaching in their fields.
Scholarship recipients will be given training in how to teach, making teaching and learning plans more effective and attracting students, as well as other things that can improve the quality and abilities of teachers. This program is a non-degree program and the duration of study is 1 year 6 months (including the first 6 months of learning Japanese) from September 2029 to March 2022.

How to Apply: 

• Online registration confirmation e-mail print-out sheet (4 sheets)
  The sheet that contains the applicant's test number (learn the REGISTRATION PROCEDURE section points 2-3).
• Application Form 2020 (4 copies).
  The form must be filled in English or Japanese.

• Research Plan (4 copies)
  In the "Research Plan" column contained in the "Application Form" (see pages 5 - 6 Application Form), the research design is made of at least 150 words in English or at least 300 characters in Japanese. If it is not enough in the available column, please add it to the attachment paper.
• Color photos (4 sheets) .
  Formal. Plain background. Free background color. Taken in the last 6 months, the size of 3.5x4.5 cm or 3x4 cm. Photographs are attached to the box for attaching photos available on the Registration Form (Application Form 2020) .

• Placement Preference Application Form 2020 (4 sheets) .
  Forms are filled in English or Japanese.

  Choose a maximum of 5 universities in the "Course Guide of Teacher Training Program". The new Course Guide link can be accessed in mid-December 2019.
• Photocopy of transcript value (4 copies) .
  Value transcripts must be in English or Japanese and legalized or stamped original by applicant colleges. For transcripts of the translation results, please be legalized or labeled as genuine as well by the applicant's college on the translation.
  Please do not attach a transcript of grades in Indonesian.
• Copy of the latest education diploma (4 sheets) .
  Diplomas must be in English or Japanese and legalized or stamped genuine by applicant colleges.

• Certificate of teaching place (4 copies) .
  A letter explaining that applicants are teaching staff who are still actively teaching and are approved to join this scholarship program.The letter is accompanied by a description of the teaching period (from what date to what date), and legalized or stamped original (not scanable) by the school. Letters must be in English or Japanese.
  If the teaching period of applicants is more than 5 years not only in one school / consists of several schools, also attach a certificate of teaching period from the previous school . The letter was legalized or stamped original by the previous school. (free format, sample certificate from the place of teaching, can be downloaded HERE )
• Letter of recommendation from the Principal where to teach now (4 sheets) .
  The recommendation letter contains personal applicants and is written in English. Free format or use the form provided. Signature of recommendation letter must be original and cannot be scanned . ( download HERE).
• Photocopy of certificate of foreign language proficiency (4 sheets)
  If there is / if you already have it (optional / not required) .

How To Apply:

• Only applicants who meet the requirements can register.
• Applicants register online first through the following website: HERE 
• After registering online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please print the e-mail and please remember the "Exam Number" that you received. If within 5 minutes you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please check the spam / junk box on your e-mail.
• Complete the required documents. A list of documents can be seen in the previous description.
• All documents that have been completed and arranged in order, are inserted into 1 large envelope (free size as long as it can load all documents, free type).
• Write the " Teacher Training 2020 " code on the top right of the envelope.

• Do not accept documents sent via online motorcycle taxi services.
• The file must arrive at the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta no later than 13 JANUARY 2020 .
• Only applicants with complete documents and received before the deadline will be processed. Documents that have been sent to the Japanese Embassy cannot be returned for any reason.
